February 12, 6:30pm at Dobie Mall (in the food court next to the Dobie Theater) Sonia will lead us in making a functional travel book with an accordian fold, pockets, pages, and places to put maps, ephemera, etc. She is providing the materials for a $5 fee. Bring basic tools if you have them, (if you don't, we share) - bone folder, scissors, craft knife and pad, PVA, spreader....
There is food available in the food court and parking available in the parking garage. Call me at 699-7236 if you need assistance finding a parking place or the food court.
Frugal Media (5400 N Lamar) has offered us a regular meeting place in the back of their used bookstore. Go by, check them out and introduce yourself to Erik.

There were 22 book workers there and everyone walked away with a completed book with pages and glassine envelopes and our own individual covers.
